Keep MouCo cheeses refrigerated, ideally in their original breathable wrapping. Our cheese continues to ripen over time, so allowing it to breathe is important. Avoid sealing it tightly in plastic wrap, as it can trap moisture and affect flavor and texture.
Each cheese has a “best by” date on the package. Younger wheels will be firmer and more mild; as they age, they soften and develop a deeper, richer flavor.
For serving, remove from the fridge and let the cheese rest at room temperature for about 30 minutes to allow the texture and flavors to open up.
