🧀 What This Cheese Had to Become...
PepBert began with a memory—one Christmas in Germany, staring at a shelf full of soft-ripened cheeses. Among all the rotating flavors over the years, one always remained: green peppercorn. It was a quiet classic, embraced by some of the biggest soft cheese makers in the world.
When we started developing our seasonal line, it just made sense. Why chase novelty when something this timeless worked so well? We tracked down the right green peppercorns—ones with lemony, citrusy notes and a gentle heat—and folded them into our Camembert.
The result surprised even us: a soft cheese with bursts of flavor, visual character, and a subtle warmth that feels both familiar and completely new. PepBert wasn’t a reinvention—it was a rediscovery.
