Ham and MouCo Camembert Croissants

🧂 Ingredients

Makes 2–4 croissant sandwiches

    • 2–4 fresh croissants
    • 4–6 oz MouCo Camembert, sliced
    • 4–6 slices deli ham (Black Forest or honey ham work great)
    • 1 tbsp butter (for crisping)
    • Optional: Dijon mustard or fresh herbs (thyme, chives)

👣 Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
    2. Slice croissants horizontally, keeping them hinged.
    3. Layer ham and Camembert inside each croissant; add mustard or herbs if using.
    4. Place croissants on a baking sheet, brush with butter, and bake 5–8 minutes until cheese is melty.
    5. If desired, broil briefly for 1–2 minutes to crisp and golden the tops.
    6. Serve warm and watch them disappear! 🥐

🎯 Notes & Pairings

    • Herb hack: A smear of Dijon or a sprinkle of thyme amps up the flavor.
    • Make-ahead: Stuff croissants ahead, then bake fresh when hunger hits.
    • Drink pairing: Try with sparkling coffee, rosé, or a Colorado craft lager.
